The 16 secure bays can be accessed with a simple swipe of a card. Nothing more is needed to place and remove a device. Once a device is removed, the bay immediately becomes free for the next user.

The Charging Locker works with the M1FAR card currently in use at most schools for ID, lunch and library cards. No need for a new card or new registration.

In case of power outage, all bays remain locked until released by a system administrator. Only an administrator can reset, lock and release any one bay or all of them, ensuring that The Charging Locker is always used in accordance with school policy.

Bay allocation is controlled by an on-board computer that allows for three possible configurations: random allocation, sequence allocation, or dedicated allocation (individual cards and bays matched).

Each bay is roomy enough to hold a 15-inch laptop computer. And the standard 13-inch size fits like a hand into a glove.

The “orange peel” finish creates a textured surface that is both attractive and practical.

The two public access bays make up the bottom row of the locker, giving regular users the better position.

At a height of 1764 mm (69.5 inches), The Charging Locker allows middle school students to easily reach the top bay to attach and detach power adaptors, or plug-in and unplug their devices.

Shared Mode

Anyone can place their device in a vacant bay
No need to register, select settings, or anything. When someone needs a charge fast, they get it. Fast. The Charging Locker will automatically allocate an idle bay. Once charged, devices can be retrieved as easily as they were placed. Once released, the bay stands ready for the next user.

Assigned Mode

Assign fixed bays to individuals
Much like a conventional locker, this mode assigns bays to individuals for their exclusive use. Especially suitable for boarding schools. Lockers can be placed outside classrooms, dorms for maximum convenience. While adhering to your campus IT policy, this function ensures all devices remain secure.

Library Mode

Self-serve borrow and return

Registered users borrow and return your devices
IT staff or administrators stock the Charging Locker in advance with your devices. Those with an entry code can then borrow a device as needed and return it when done. No staff interaction required. What could be easier?

Charging Locker bays contain 220V/110V receptacles and USB chargers compatible with all major devices. In addition, each bay can receive an optional secure power adaptor — either PC or Mac.

Outlets in each bay are equipped with a USB power port. There is no need to bring your own USB power adaptor, just plug in that iPad or smartphone.
