At an event demonstrating the latest technologies and trends in Unified Communications, Cisco’s Jack Xu and Richard Dodsworth explained and demonstrated to selected SolutionKeys’ education clients how product innovation within the Unified Communications sector could deliver substantial benefits to schools.
Speakers explained how imperatives of 21st century communication such as: the speed and agility to remain competitive; the ‘must have’ aspects of continuity and compliance; innovation to drive performance and the emergence of ‘green’ business practices make a case for a Unified Communications approach to business.

On show were new communication and collaboration tools such as High Definition, multi-screen video conferencing and ‘smart classrooms’ where essential items such as wireless, telephones, fire protection, video surveillance and access control can all be unified and more effectively managed with the power of IP networks.
